The Adaptivity Collective

Who are you being called to become for the journey and season ahead?

Helping people and organizations transform and navigate the season ahead — without losing what matters.

Explore Adaptivity
A narrow path winding through open hills toward a distant horizon at first light

Adaptivity is about more than adapting.

Change can ask more of us than learning a new skill, adopting a new strategy, or adjusting what we do. Sometimes it reaches deeper — into our assumptions, mindsets, patterns, relationships, capabilities, and who we are becoming.

Adaptivity is about responding to changing realities at both levels — what we do and who we become.

What is changing? What must remain? What needs to change?

Adaptivity

Align · Transform · Lead

Three movements sit at the heart of the work across the Collective.

  • Align

    See clearly. Stay grounded.

Understand the context, surface assumptions, and reconnect with what matters most — purpose, values, relationships, responsibilities, and the realities in front of us.

Alignment is not simply getting everyone to agree. It is creating greater coherence between what matters, what is true, and how we respond.

  • Transform

    Go deeper than new skills.

Transformation can involve new capabilities and behaviors. But lasting change often reaches further — into mindsets, assumptions, habits, relationships, identity, culture, and the barriers that keep people or organizations from moving forward.

    • Some things need to be strengthened.
    • Some need to be unlearned.
    • Some need to be renewed.
    • And some should not change at all.
  • Lead

Move forward with purpose and courage.

Adaptivity is not reflection without action.

It is the capacity to translate greater clarity and deeper change into purposeful leadership — making thoughtful choices, acting with courage, learning along the way, and helping others navigate the journey.

The Collective

Distinct expressions of the work

Adaptivity looks different depending on where the questions are being asked. The Collective brings together connected expressions, each serving a different audience and purpose.

  • The Institute for Adaptivity

    Research · Diagnostics · Frameworks · Coaching · Advisory

The Institute explores Adaptivity across individual, leadership, team, and organizational contexts.

Through research, frameworks, diagnostics, coaching, and advisory, the Institute helps leaders and organizations better understand the forces shaping them, identify what may need to change, and develop the adaptive capacity needed for what lies ahead.

Its work begins with questions such as:

    • What does this changing context require of your personal and collective leadership?
    • What kind of leader, team, or organization will the season ahead require?

  • Adaptive Soul

Christian Leadership Formation · Spiritual Direction · Soul Care

A quiet place to be with God.

Adaptive Soul is the explicitly Christian expression within the wider ecosystem.

It creates space to slow down, attend to God, reflect honestly on life and leadership, and consider how God may be shaping a person through the season they are in.

Its guided reflections and formation resources explore spiritual life, Christian leadership, work, relationships, family, calling, transition, wilderness, and loss.

Here, transformation is not simply self-improvement. It is an invitation to notice, receive, and walk faithfully with God.

One thread running through it all

The audiences are different.

The language changes.

The work takes different forms.

But a common set of questions runs beneath it all:

  • What is changing?
  • What matters most?
  • What needs to change — within us and around us?
  • How do we move forward with purpose and courage?
